Dress code

Life on board is dominated by a casual atmosphere. We recommend long skirts and trousers, dresses and tops for the ladies and shorts, polo shirts and t-shirts for the gentlemen. Furthermore we suggest wearing flat shoes with rubber soles and low heals. For the meals, something more elegant will be ideal. You can also bring a cardigan or blazer.

On most of the evenings, the dress code will be casual (Cruise Casual).

But there will be one or two evenings during your Carnival cruise, where you´ll have the opportunity to present your elegant apparel (Cruise Elegant). For those who want to dress more casual on these evenings, the Buffet Restaurant on the Lido deck with its relaxed atmosphere is an appropriate alternative.

Cruise Casual
Gentlemen: dress pants, jeans, elegant shorts, polo shirts

Ladies: casual dresses, skirts or trousers and blouses, summer dresses, capris, elegant shorts, jeans

Please no tracksuit trowsers, basketball shorts, flip-flops, bathing clothes or cut-off jeans.

Cruise Elegant
Gentlemen: elegant dress pants, shirts, sports jackets as well as suits, ties and tuxedos.

Ladies: cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts, blouses and evening gowns.

Please no shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, bathing clothes, jeans, cut-off jeans, sportswear and baseball caps.

Where can I wash my clothes?
Each ship has at least 2 self-service launderettes located on the stateroom decks. Each launderette is equipped with at least 2 washers, dryers, iron and ironing board. Small boxes of detergent and water softeners are available from vending machines. The washing machines will be closed while the ship is in port.

In addition to our self-service launderettes, there is a valet laundry service on board for washing and ironing. This service is handled through the Cabin Steward. Dry cleaning is not available on board. Please ask your steward.
